AIMP1 (aminoacyl tRNA synthetase complex interacting multifunctional protein 1; p43/EMAPII) is a multisynthetase-complex protein studied in tRNA handling, signalling and extracellular cytokine-like biology.
Biological function: AIMP1 is a non-catalytic component of the cytoplasmic multisynthetase complex that binds tRNA and supports aminoacyl-tRNA synthetase activity.
