Veron Duberry

Founder & CEO

Veron Duberry is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of ABMIUM Ltd., where he leads corporate strategy, platform development, market positioning and business development focused on advancing reproducibility, affordability, transparency and responsible innovation in biomedical research reagents. He did a Master’s in Bioscience and Social Justice and is currently a researcher at the University of East London, with experience spanning AMR microbiology, supplier intelligence, corporate responsibility and sustainability. His work integrates bioscience, validation frameworks, ethical commerce and market strategy to address persistent challenges in reagent quality, provenance, accessibility and research confidence. Through his scientific, sustainability and entrepreneurial leadership, he is committed to building trusted systems that strengthen reproducible science worldwide.

John Oluwafemi Teibo, PhD

Co-Founder & CSO

John Oluwafemi Teibo, PhD is the Co-Founder and Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of ABMIUM Ltd., where he leads scientific innovation and research strategy focused on advancing reproducibility and validation in biomedical research reagents. He holds a PhD in Biochemistry-Cancer Proteomics and is a Postdoctoral researcher specializing in translational oncology, and precision prevention. His research integrates proteomics, phosphoproteomics and systems biology to uncover molecular mechanisms driving therapeutic response and disease prognosis, with a particular emphasis on CAR-T cell therapy and precision oncology. Through his academic and entrepreneurial leadership, he is committed to bridging the gap between scientific discovery and clinical application by developing innovative solutions that enhance research reliability, accelerate biomarker development, and improve patient outcomes worldwide.

Nathan Gardner, PhD

Nathan Gardner, PhD, is a synthetic biology professional with more than a decade of experience engineering proteins, developing expression technologies, and commercializing research tools. He earned his PhD in Biomolecular Structure and Biophysics from Purdue University and held research positions at both Purdue University and the University of Chicago, where he studied protein-ligand interactions and their effects on protein structure and function. As Lead R&D Scientist and Quality Assurance Manager at Daicel Arbor Biosciences, Dr. Gardner developed and commercialized the patented myTXTL® Antibody/DS cell-free expression system. His career has spanned protein crystallization, assay development, product commercialization, and quality management, providing a unique perspective on the importance of quality throughout the product lifecycle. Dr. Gardner is recognized for driving operational improvement through analytical problem-solving, cross-functional collaboration, and empathetic leadership.

Fidel Peacock, PhD

Fidel Peacock is a research operations and technical leadership professional with over 19 years' experience in higher education. A Biochemistry graduate with a year at GSK from Imperial College London and a MB PhD in Neurology from UCL, he has held roles at both the University of Manchester and UCL spanning research support, compliance, safety, facilities management, and strategic operations. As a Senior Laboratory Manager at UCL, he leads the management of technical staff and research infrastructure across multiple sites, facilitating world-class biomedical research through operational excellence, governance, sustainability, and research culture initiatives. He is an active contributor to national research & innovation networks and professional communities, with a particular interest in leadership, innovation, and the future sustainability of research operations.

Professor Winston Morgan is an Advisor to ABMIUM LTD, bringing strategic expertise in toxicology, clinical biochemistry, research impact and inclusive scientific practice. He is Professor of Toxicology, Equity and Inclusive Practice and Director of Impact and Innovation at the University of East London, with extensive experience across pharmacology, biochemical toxicology, biomedical science and higher education leadership. His research spans mechanistic toxicology, toxicity testing, clinical biochemistry, liver and kidney toxicity, auto-antibody protein chemistry and the wider social determinants shaping medical and research outcomes. Through his academic leadership and commitment to equity, impact and scientific integrity, he supports ABMIUM’s mission to strengthen reproducibility, responsible innovation and trust across biomedical research.
