Thymic stromal lymphopoietin (TSLP) is a secreted cytokine produced particularly by epithelial barrier cells, including keratinocytes and airway epithelial cells. It signals through the TSLP receptor complex and helps regulate immune responses at barrier tissues, with an established role in type 2 inflammation and allergic immune responses.
