CXCL13, also known as BLC or BCA-1, is a secreted CXC chemokine that binds CXCR5 and helps organise B-cell trafficking and lymphoid follicle development. In mice it is found in extracellular compartments and is expressed in lymphoid tissues including spleen and Peyer’s patches, supporting recruitment of CXCR5-positive B cells.
