Product description

Background

Proposed to enhance ubiquitin ligase activity of RING-type zinc finger-containing E3 ubiquitin-protein ligases. May enhance ubiquitin ligase activity of TRIM28 and stimulate p53/TP53 ubiquitination by TRIM28. Proposed to act through recruitment and/or stabilization of the Ubl-conjugating enzyme (E2) at the E3:substrate complex. May play a role in embryonal development and tumor transformation or aspects of tumor progression. In vitro promotes cell viability in melanoma cell lines. Antigen recognized on a melanoma by autologous cytolytic T-lymphocytes.

Test principle

This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Human MAGEA3 antibody. MAGEA3 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Human MAGEA3 Antibody is added and binds to MAGEA3 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated MAGEA3 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Human MAGEA3. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
