Product description

Background

Mediates export of organic anions and drugs from the cytoplasm. Mediates ATP-dependent transport of glutathione and glutathione conjugates, leukotriene C4, estradiol-17-beta-o-glucuronide, methotrexate, antiviral drugs and other xenobiotics. Confers resistance to anticancer drugs by decreasing accumulation of drug in cells, and by mediating ATP- and GSH-dependent drug export. Hydrolyzes ATP with low efficiency (PubMed: 15129170). Catalyzes the export of sphingosine 1-phosphate from mast cells independently of their degranulation (PubMed: 17050692). Participates in inflammatory response by allowing export of leukotriene C4 from leukotriene C4-synthezing cells (By similarity).

Test principle

This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Rat ABCC1 antibody. ABCC1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Rat ABCC1 Antibody is added and binds to ABCC1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated ABCC1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Rat ABCC1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
