Product description

Background

Ligand-specific transporter trafficking between intracellular organelles (TGN) and the plasma membrane. Plays a role in autocrine regulation of cell growth mediated by growth regulators containing cell surface retention sequence binding (CRS). May act as a hyaluronan (HA) transporter, either mediating its uptake for catabolism within lymphatic endothelial cells themselves, or its transport into the lumen of afferent lymphatic vessels for subsequent re-uptake and degradation in lymph nodes.

Test principle

This kit is an Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA). The plate has been pre-coated with Mouse LYVE-1 antibody. LYVE-1 present in the sample is added and binds to antibodies coated on the wells. And then biotinylated Mouse LYVE-1 Antibody is added and binds to LYVE-1 in the sample. Then Streptavidin-HRP is added and binds to the Biotinylated LYVE-1 antibody. After incubation unbound Streptavidin-HRP is washed away during a washing step. Substrate solution is then added and color develops in proportion to the amount of Mouse LYVE-1. The reaction is terminated by addition of acidic stop solution and absorbance is measured at 450 nm.
