Human Streptococcus Pneumoniae (SP) Antigen Lateral Flow Assay Kit

This kit applies the Sandwich-GICA (Gold Immunochromatography) method as its principle, and can be used for the detection of Streptococcus Pneumoniae (SP) antigen in sample. The quality control (C) line is pre-coated with Goat-anti-Mouse IgG antibody, and the detection (T) line is pre-coated with anti-SP polyclonal antibody. The gold pad is coated with Gold-labeled anti-SP monoclonal antibody. SP antigen in sample will combine with Gold-labeled anti-SP monoclonal antibody on the gold pad and form a complex. The complex will then move along the detection card and react with the pre-coated anti-SP polyclonal antibody on the detection line (T-line) and form a visible gold precipitation line. The residue gold labeled complex will combine with the Goat-anti-Mouse IgG antibody on the C area and form a visible gold precipitation line. If there is no SP antigen in sample, there will be no complex and precipitation line appeared.
