Abamectin is a kind of sixteen-membered macrolide compound with insecticidal and acaricidal properties. It is commonly used to treat nematodes in and out of cattle, sheep and other livestock and pests on the surface of vegetables and fruits. Abamectin B1a+B1b is the main insecticidal component (B1a is not less than 90%, and B1b is not more than 5%).

Test principle

This kit uses Competitive-ELISA as the method for the quantitative detection. It can detect Abamectin (ABM) in samples, such as milk, etc. This kit is composed of ELISA Microtiter plate, HRP conjugate, standard and other supplementary reagents. The microtiter plate provided in this kit has been pre-coated with coupled antigen. During the detection, ABM in the samples or standard competes with coupled antigen on the solid phase supporter for sites of anti-ABM antibody. Then Horseradish Peroxidase (HRP) conjugate is added to each well, and substrate reagent is added for color development. There isa negative correlation between the OD value of samples and the concentration of ABM. The concentration of ABM in the samples can be calculated by comparing the OD of the samples to the standard curve.
