Reliable experimental planning depends on understanding who controls reagent manufacture, where supplier evidence is incomplete and how product provenance may affect interpretation. ABMIUM created this register to help researchers and procurement teams make more informed sourcing decisions from clearly presented public evidence.

ABMIUM participates in the UK Reproducibility Network Stakeholder Group. This register is one of our practical contributions to the shared goal of helping scientists understand where reproducibility risks may arise when selecting research reagents.
Our position is straightforward: stronger manufacturing control and meaningful quality control create a stronger foundation for consistent, reliable products. Clear evidence about provenance, production responsibility, lot release and validation helps researchers judge that foundation more confidently.
ABMIUM remains independent in how it assesses and presents provider evidence, including evidence relating to brands with which we work. We have chosen to build a different commercial model—one that combines access to research products with greater supply-chain clarity. Providers, collaborators and researchers have consistently told us that this type of transparency is needed to support better purchasing decisions and more reproducible research.
This is a living evidence register. We welcome substantiated information from manufacturers, suppliers, researchers and other informed contributors so that records can be corrected, strengthened and kept current.
Manufacturer-of-record signals, production claims, facilities, QC responsibility, lot-release evidence and product-family manufacture.
Catalogue breadth is compared with visible production facilities, scientific workforce and relevant R&D / QC capability.
Website and public-company language changes, facilities, catalogue expansion, acquisitions and manufacturing positioning are tracked over time where evidence is available.
OEM / ODM relationships, authorised distribution, trademarks, product fingerprints and public sourcing disclosures can inform classification.
ABMIUM gathers and compares publicly available information using multiple automated collection, AI-assisted analysis and model-review systems. Evidence can include provider websites, public records, catalogue information and other accessible sources. Historical website research may use archived pages made available through the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine.
Automated systems support discovery and comparison; they do not remove uncertainty. Records show an evidence date and confidence level where available, and providers or other informed parties can submit additional evidence or request a correction.
