RPL-Gal2 is a recombinant prokaryotic lectin with specificity for Terminal α-linked Galactose > N-Acetylgalactosamine (GalNAc). It is supplied as 2 mg at 2 mg/mL and has a monomer molecular weight of 14,162 Da.

Recombinant Prokaryotic Lectins (RPLs) are glycoselective bioaffinity compounds that recognise and bind specific glycan structures displayed on glycoproteins and other glycosylated biomolecules. They enable simple, rapid and efficient detection, analysis, separation and purification of intact glycosylated biomolecules.

GlycoSeLect developed this RPL range for glycan epitopes including terminal galactose, mannose, sialic acid and fucose structures. Every RPL carries a polyhistidine tag, enabling detection with standard conjugated anti-His antibodies without in-vitro biotinylation or other labelling.
