Built around the experiment

Your project. A defined technical scope.

ABMIUM coordinates cell-based and preclinical research packages around a defined scientific question. Projects can connect material generation to in vitro functional assays or a separately designed animal study. Specify the test article, biological model, controls, endpoints and reporting needs. A useful study produces evidence for the question being asked, with the proposed methods and scope made clear before work begins.

Specialist ProMab service routes can be coordinated through ABMIUM. Your quotation identifies the selected provider, agreed stages, available documentation and material or experimental deliverables.

ABMIUM reviews your specification and coordinates suitable custom-service and manufacturing routes. The proposed provider or manufacturer, available documentation and agreed scope are stated before order.

Technical scope

Explore bioluminescence imaging, tumour measurements, histopathology, IHC and gene-expression analysis within a defined study. Pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic or toxicology questions can be raised for feasibility review. Specify sampling and reporting requirements; a general preclinical service does not automatically constitute a regulatory study.

Connect the service to your research

Research applications

CAR and immune-cell assessment

Connect engineered-cell generation to expression, target killing and cytokine-response experiments.

Antibody functional research

Assess the biological activity of antibody or bispecific candidates in an appropriate experimental model.

Preclinical proof of concept

Build a defined evidence package around model selection, controls, measurements and final research reporting.

Tumour-initiating cell research

Discuss a tumour-initiating-cell question with the model, starting material and endpoints clearly identified. Available models and study conditions are confirmed by the proposed provider.

Cancer-stem-cell research

Explore a defined cancer-stem-cell model or experimental requirement. Specify phenotype, source and the evidence needed to interpret the study rather than treating a model label as proof of biological behaviour.

PK, PD and toxicology enquiries

Raise pharmacokinetic, pharmacodynamic or toxicology requirements as a separate technical enquiry. Include test article, model, dose, sampling, analysis and intended regulatory context so the provider can assess the appropriate scope.

Agree the output before work begins

Project deliverables

Material, experiments and documentation are defined in the quotation. Select the deliverables that your study needs.

  • A study plan with models, methods, controls and agreed endpoints.
  • Experimental results for the assays and time points commissioned.
  • Analysis, imaging or tissue readouts included in the scope.
  • A research report with methods, interpretation limits and available supporting documentation.

One coordinated route

How your custom project works

  1. 01

    Share your requirement

Tell us the target, application, starting materials and output you need. Include performance and documentation requirements.

  2. 02

    Review feasibility and scope

ABMIUM coordinates the technical review and identifies the proposed provider, methods, deliverables and project stages.

  3. 03

    Confirm the quotation

Review the agreed specification, available QC and reports, pricing, indicative lead time and delivery terms before order.

Clear answers before you enquire

Frequently asked questions

Can I request only flow cytometry or a cell-based assay?

Yes. Standalone analytical work can be assessed. Provide samples, markers, controls and the measurement or sorting output you need.

Can you connect a CAR project to an animal study?

A linked programme can be discussed, with in vitro results and model suitability informing a separate preclinical study scope.

Can imaging and IHC be included?

Specify the required imaging, tissue collection and IHC endpoints so feasibility, methods and reporting can be confirmed.

Are all studies GLP or suitable for regulatory submission?

No blanket claim is made. State the intended regulatory context and documentation needs at enquiry so the appropriate provider and study framework can be assessed.

How do we choose a relevant cell-based assay model?

Start with the mechanism and the decision your result must support. Consider target expression, species, cell context and the relationship between the model and the study question. Define controls, exposure conditions, endpoints and analysis before work starts.

Are all preclinical studies GLP or suitable for regulatory submission?

No. Research studies and regulated programmes have different requirements. Specify your intended use and quality-system needs during enquiry. The provider, methods, records, study design and reporting standard must be agreed; a research result should not be presented as regulatory evidence without the relevant scope.

What affects the cost of preclinical & cell-based research services?

Pricing depends on model choice, number of conditions, controls, study duration, endpoints and reporting requirements. ABMIUM provides a project-specific quotation after reviewing the requirement. Ask for a breakdown of stages, deliverables, optional studies and further-work decision points so you can compare the total scope rather than an entry price alone.
