NEST Quick Connectors provide a practical solution for creating and managing fluid-transfer connections in single-use bioprocessing systems. The ergonomic push-button design allows compatible male and female components to be joined or separated quickly, helping simplify assembly changes, equipment connections and fluid-path management. Standard and High-Flow configurations accommodate tubing sizes from 1/8 inch through 1/2 inch. Compatible sealing caps and plugs protect disconnected connector ends, allowing operators to close each side of the fluid path after separation. Polycarbonate construction, medical-grade silicone seals and broad performance testing support use across process development, media and buffer transfer, filtration, sampling and other biopharmaceutical fluid-handling workflows.
.
NEST Quick Connectors provide fast, secure connections and disconnections for fluid-transfer lines in single-use bioprocessing systems. They can be used to transfer media, buffers, process fluids and other liquids between compatible tubing assemblies, bags, bottles, filters and processing equipment.
The collection includes male Quick Connectors, female Quick Connectors, sealing caps and sealing plugs. Standard and High-Flow configurations are available to support different tubing sizes and flow requirements.
NEST Quick Connectors accommodate tubing sizes ranging from 1/8 inch through 1/2 inch, depending on the selected connector type and configuration.
Standard Female Quick Connectors are available for 1/8-inch, 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch ID tubing. The High-Flow Female Quick Connector accommodates 1/2-inch ID tubing.
Standard Male Quick Connectors are available for 1/8-inch, 1/4-inch and 3/8-inch ID tubing. High-Flow Male Quick Connectors are available for 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch ID tubing.
Standard connectors support smaller tubing sizes and routine fluid-transfer applications. High-Flow connectors have a larger connector body and fluid path to accommodate larger tubing sizes and applications requiring increased flow capacity.
Press the release buttons to remove the protective cap and plug from the corresponding connector halves. Insert the compatible male and female components to complete the fluid-path connection.
Press the release button and pull the two connector components apart. Install the appropriate sealing cap or plug on each disconnected half to close and protect the open fluid paths.
Sealing caps and plugs close compatible connector halves before connection or after disconnection. They help protect the open fluid path when a connector is not attached to its mating component.
No. Select caps and plugs that match the Standard or High-Flow connector configuration. Confirm the applicable catalog number and connector type before ordering.
The connectors are designed for compatibility with similar quick-connector formats available on the market. Users should confirm dimensional, material and functional compatibility with the intended mating component before incorporating connectors into a validated process.
The main connector body is manufactured from polycarbonate, and the sealing ring is manufactured from medical-grade silicone. According to the product documentation, both materials comply with ISO 10993 standards.
NEST Quick Connectors support either electron beam irradiation at 50–55 kGy or steam sterilization at 121°C for 30 minutes.
No. The two sterilization methods are mutually exclusive and must not be applied to the same connector. Select one validated sterilization method for the completed assembly.
