La globuline de liaison aux corticostéroïdes (CBG), également connue sous le nom de Serpin A6, est une protéine qui chez l'homme est codée par le gène SERPINA6. Elle est cartographiée en 14q32.13. Ce gène code une protéine alpha-globuline avec des propriétés de liaison aux corticostéroïdes. Il s'agit de la principale protéine de transport des glucocorticoïdes et des progestatifs dans le sang de la plupart des vertébrés. Le gène se localise dans une région chromosomique contenant plusieurs inhibiteurs de sérine protéase étroitement apparentés qui pourraient avoir évolué par des événements de duplication.
