La molécule CD79b, immunoglobuline associée bêta, également connue sous le nom de CD79B (Cluster de différenciation 79B), est un gène humain. Le récepteur d'antigène des lymphocytes B est un complexe multimérique qui comprend le composant spécifique à l'antigène, l'immunoglobuline de surface (Ig). L'Ig de surface s'associe de manière non covalente à deux autres protéines, Ig-alpha et Ig-bêta, qui sont nécessaires à l'expression et à la fonction du récepteur d'antigène des cellules B. Ce gène code la protéine Ig-bêta du composant antigène des cellules B. Des variants de transcrits épissés alternativement codant différentes isoformes ont été décrits.
