IGL Lambda est la cible de sonde répertoriée pour ce réactif d'hybridation in situ par fluorescence à usage de recherche uniquement (RUO) et est pertinente pour la cytogénétique moléculaire, l'oncologie ou la recherche en hématologie en fonction du locus cible.

La conception FISH ciblée permet la visualisation de la région génomique répertoriée à l'aide de l'hybridation par sonde fluorescente et de l'évaluation du signal par microscopie.

Les sondes FISH sont appliquées sur des cellules fixées ou des coupes de tissus préparées où les cibles génomiques restent spatialement préservées, ce qui les rend utiles pour la recherche en cytogénétique moléculaire, les études de biologie tumorale et la vérification des changements chromosomiques structurels ou numériques.
