IL10 identifies interleukin 10 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 3586, UniProtKB P22301 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: IL10 is a major immune-regulatory cytokine with anti-inflammatory activity. Through the IL10RA and IL10RB receptor complex it activates JAK-STAT signalling, including STAT3, and suppresses production of multiple pro-inflammatory mediators by antigen-presenting cells.
