L'anticorps pAb de lapin anti-DMA est un anticorps ELK Biotechnology destiné aux flux de travail de recherche impliquant le DMA.
HLA-DMA appartient aux paralogues de la chaîne alpha de classe II du HLA. Cette molécule de classe II est un hétérodimère composé d'une chaîne alpha (DMA) et d'une chaîne bêta (DMB), toutes deux ancrées dans la membrane. Elle est localisée dans les vésicules intracellulaires. Le DM joue un rôle central dans le chargement peptidique des molécules du CMH de classe II en aidant à libérer la molécule CLIP du site de liaison peptidique. Les molécules de classe II sont exprimées dans les cellules présentatrices d'antigènes (CPA : lymphocytes B, cellules dendritiques, macrophages). La chaîne alpha est d'environ 33-35 kDa et son gène contient 5 exons. L'exon un code le peptide signal, les exons 2 et 3 codent les deux domaines extracellulaires, l'exon 4 code le domaine transmembranaire et la queue cytoplasmique. [fourni par RefSeq, juillet 2008],
