L'anticorps polyclonal de lapin anti-PRC1 est un anticorps ELK Biotechnology destiné aux flux de travail de recherche impliquant le PRC1.
Ce gène code une protéine impliquée dans la cytokinèse. La protéine est présente en grande quantité pendant les phases S et G2/M de la mitose, mais ses niveaux chutent considérablement lorsque la cellule quitte la mitose et entre en phase G1. Elle est localisée dans le noyau pendant l'interphase, s'associe aux fuseaux mitotiques de manière très dynamique pendant la mitose et se localise au corps intermédiaire de la cellule pendant la cytokinèse. Il a été démontré que cette protéine est un substrat de plusieurs kinases dépendantes des cyclines (CDK). Elle est nécessaire pour polariser les microtubules parallèles et concentrer les facteurs responsables de l'assemblage de l'anneau contractile.
