L'anticorps pAb de lapin anti-TMPO est un anticorps d'ELK Biotechnology pour les flux de travail de recherche impliquant TMPO.
La protéine encodée par TMPO (thymopoïétine) réside dans le noyau et pourrait jouer un rôle dans l'assemblage de la lamina nucléaire, aidant ainsi à maintenir l'organisation structurelle de l'enveloppe nucléaire. Elle pourrait fonctionner comme un récepteur pour la fixation des filaments de lamine à la membrane nucléaire interne. Les mutations de TMPO sont associées à une cardiomyopathie dilatée. Des variants de transcription épissés alternativement et codant pour différentes isoformes ont été notés pour TMPO.
