L'anticorps polyclonal de lapin IL-18R est un anticorps de biotechnologie ELK destiné aux flux de travail de recherche impliquant l'IL-18R.
La protéine encodée par ce gène est un récepteur de cytokine appartenant à la famille des récepteurs de l'interleukine 1. Ce récepteur se lie spécifiquement à l'interleukine 18 (IL18) et est essentiel pour la transduction du signal médiatisée par l'IL18. Il a été rapporté que l'IFN-alpha et l'IL12 induisent l'expression de ce récepteur dans les cellules NK et T. Ce gène, ainsi que quatre autres membres de la famille des récepteurs de l'interleukine 1, notamment IL1R2, IL1R1, ILRL2 (IL-1Rrp2) et IL1RL1 (T1/ST2), forment un cluster de gènes sur le chromosome 2q.
