L'anticorps pAb de lapin Apelin est un anticorps d'ELK Biotechnology pour les flux de travail de recherche impliquant l'Apelin.
Ce gène code pour un peptide qui fonctionne comme un ligand endogène pour le récepteur de l'apéline couplé à la protéine G. La préproprotéine codée est traitée par protéolyse en fragments peptidiques C-terminaux biologiquement actifs. Ces fragments peptidiques activent différentes voies de signalisation spécifiques aux tissus qui régulent diverses fonctions biologiques, y compris l'homéostasie des fluides, la fonction cardiovasculaire et la sécrétion d'insuline.
