derlin 3 (DERL3) Homo sapiens La protéine encodée par ce gène appartient à la famille des derlins et réside dans le réticulum endoplasmique (RE). Les protéines dépliées ou mal repliées dans le RE doivent être repliées ou dégradées pour maintenir l'homéostasie du RE. Cette protéine semble impliquée dans la dégradation des glycoprotéines mal repliées dans le RE. Plusieurs variants de transcription épissés alternativement encodant différentes isoformes ont été identifiés pour ce gène. [fourni par RefSeq, octobre 2008].
