L'anticorps pAb de lapin TFF2 est un anticorps de biotechnologie ELK destiné aux flux de travail de recherche impliquant le TFF2.
Les membres de la famille des trèfles sont caractérisés par la présence d'au moins une copie du motif trèfle, un domaine de 40 acides aminés qui contient trois ponts disulfures conservés. Ce sont des protéines sécrétoires stables exprimées dans la muqueuse gastro-intestinale. Leurs fonctions ne sont pas définies, mais elles pourraient protéger la muqueuse des agressions, stabiliser la couche de mucus et influencer la cicatrisation de l'épithélium. La protéine codée inhibe la sécrétion d'acide gastrique. Ce gène et deux autres gènes membres de la famille des trèfles apparentés se trouvent dans un cluster sur le chromosome 21.
