ELAF rabbit pAb est un anticorps d'ELK Biotechnology destiné aux flux de travail de recherche impliquant ELAF.

Contexte

Ce gène code un inhibiteur spécifique de l'élastase qui fonctionne comme un peptide antimicrobien contre les bactéries Gram-positives et Gram-négatives, ainsi que les agents pathogènes fongiques. La protéine contient un domaine WFDC (WAP-type four-disulfide core), et est donc un membre de la famille des domaines WFDC. La plupart des gènes membres du WFDC sont localisés sur le chromosome 20q12-q13 en deux groupes : centromérique et télomérique. Ce gène appartient au groupe centromérique. L'expression de ce gène est régulée à la hausse par les lipopolysaccharides bactériens et les cytokines. [fourni par RefSeq, Oct 2014]
