L'anticorps polyclonal de lapin anti-Kininogène 1 est un anticorps ELK Biotechnology destiné aux flux de recherche impliquant le Kininogène 1.
Les kininogènes sont des inhibiteurs des thiol-protéases ; le kininogène de haut poids moléculaire (HMW) joue un rôle important dans la coagulation sanguine en aidant à positionner de manière optimale la prékallikréine et le facteur XI à côté du facteur XII ; le kininogène HMW inhibe l'agrégation des thrombocytes induite par la thrombine et la plasmine ; le peptide actif bradykinine, libéré du kininogène HMW, présente une variété d'effets physiologiques. Le kininogène de faible poids moléculaire (LMW) inhibe l'agrégation des thrombocytes ; le kininogène LMW n'est pas impliqué dans la coagulation sanguine, contrairement au kininogène HMW. UCHL1, UCHL3, UCHL5/UCH37 et la protéine 1 associée à BRCA-1 (BAP1) appartiennent à la famille UCH des DUBs, qui possèdent toutes un domaine catalytique conservé (domaine UCH) d'environ 230 acides aminés. UCHL1 est abondamment exprimé dans les tissus neuronaux et les testicules.
