La kinase du récepteur bêta-adrénergique (également appelée βARK ou BARK) est une sérine/thréonine kinase intracellulaire. Le produit de ce gène phosphoryle le récepteur bêta-2-adrénergique et semble médier la désensibilisation spécifique de l'agoniste observée à des concentrations élevées d'agoniste. Cette protéine est une enzyme cytosolique ubiquitaire qui phosphoryle spécifiquement la forme activée des récepteurs bêta-adrénergiques et des récepteurs couplés aux protéines G apparentés. Le couplage anormal du récepteur bêta-adrénergique à la protéine G est impliqué dans la pathogenèse de l'insuffisance cardiaque.
