Product description

Research target context

CTNNB1catenin beta 1

View target guide

CTNNB1 identifies catenin beta 1 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 1499, UniProtKB P35222 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.

Biological function: CTNNB1 (beta-catenin) is a key downstream component of canonical Wnt signalling. When stabilised, it can accumulate in the nucleus and act with TCF/LEF transcription factors; it also contributes to cell adhesion as part of cadherin-catenin complexes.
