Product description

Research target context

PRLprolactin

View target guide

PRL identifies prolactin in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 5617, UniProtKB P01236 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.

Biological function: PRL (prolactin) is a pituitary peptide hormone with central roles in mammary-gland development and milk production. It also has broader endocrine, reproductive and immune-associated biological effects mediated through the prolactin receptor.
