ADAMTS4, also known as aggrecanase-1, is a secreted ADAMTS-family metalloprotease. Curated NCBI and reviewed UniProt annotations describe cleavage of aggrecan and cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP); NCBI also reports brevican degradation.
