Galectin-1, encoded by Lgals1, is a β-galactoside-binding lectin that regulates cell-cell and cell-matrix interactions and contributes to processes including immune regulation, cell proliferation and differentiation. In mouse, galectin-1 is found in the extracellular space and is broadly expressed across multiple tissues.
Boster Bio EK0763 is a mouse galectin-1 ELISA kit using an anti-mouse Lgals1 pre-coated microplate, a biotinylated detection antibody and a mouse Lgals1 standard for quantitative immunoassay workflows.

LGALS1 identifies galectin 1 in Homo sapiens (Human). This target record connects NCBI Gene 3956, UniProtKB P09382 and related ABMIUM catalogue products.
Biological function: LGALS1 (galectin-1) is a beta-galactoside-binding lectin that regulates apoptosis, cell proliferation and differentiation. It can modulate CD45 phosphatase activity and T-cell responses.
