Product description

Human PDGFRA ELISA Kit PicoKine® is a research-use ELISA kit from Boster Bio for measuring Platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha in Cell culture supernatant, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). samples from Human. Use the listed assay range, sample guidance and protocol documents to assess suitability for the intended study.

Human PDGFRA ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests). Quantitate Human PDGFRA in cell culture supernatants, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA). Sensitivity: 45 pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.

Platelet-derived growth factor receptor A, also termed CD140a, is a receptor located on the surface of a wide range of cell types. The protein is encoded in the human by the PDGFRA gene. This gene encodes a cell surface tyrosine kinase receptor for members of the platelet-derived growth factor family. These growth factors are mitogens for cells of mesenchymal origin. The identity of the growth factor bound to a receptor monomer determines whether the functional receptor is a homodimer or a heterodimer, composed of both platelet-derived growth factor receptor alpha and beta polypeptides. Studies suggest that this gene plays a role in organ development, wound healing, and tumor progression. Mutations in this gene have been associated with idiopathic hypereosinophilic syndrome, somatic and familial gastrointestinal stromal tumors, and a variety of other cancers.
