Product description

ABCG2, also known as BCRP, is an ATP-dependent efflux transporter that exports a wide range of physiological compounds, dietary toxins and xenobiotics. It contributes to urate and porphyrin homeostasis and helps regulate the cellular accumulation of many drugs. The protein is membrane-associated and is strongly expressed in barrier and excretory tissues, including placenta and intestine.

Boster Bio A00457-2 is a rabbit polyclonal antibody against ABCG2 generated using recombinant human ABCG2 protein.

Research target context

ABCG2ATP binding cassette subfamily G member 2 (JR blood group)

View target guide

ATP binding cassette subfamily G member 2 (ABCG2), also called breast cancer resistance protein (BCRP) or CD338, is a broad-substrate ATP-dependent efflux transporter represented in the ABMIUM catalogue.

Biological function: ABCG2/BCRP is a broad-substrate ATP-dependent transporter that exports physiological compounds, dietary toxins and xenobiotics from cells. It contributes to multidrug resistance and also participates in transport of porphyrins, heme and urate.
