ABCG1 is an ATP-binding cassette transporter involved in cellular cholesterol and phospholipid homeostasis, with an important role in promoting lipid efflux from macrophages and other cell types. As a membrane-associated transporter, it contributes to redistribution and export of sterols and phospholipids rather than acting as a soluble metabolic enzyme.
This Boster Bio product is a rabbit monoclonal antibody against ABCG1. Boster identifies the clone as CHH-1 and reports that the immunogen was a synthesised peptide derived from human ABCG1.
