PEBP1 binds ATP, opioids and phosphatidylethanolamine. PEBP1 has lower affinity for phosphatidylinositol and phosphatidylcholine. Serine protease inhibitor which inhibits thrombin, neuropsin and chymotrypsin but not trypsin, tissue type plasminogen activator and elastase.
