Chitinase 3-like 3, auch bekannt als ECF-L und Ym1, ist ein sezerniertes Lektin mit 377 Aminosäuren, das Heparin und GlcN-Oligomere bindet. Dieses Gen ist auf 3 F2.2; 3 46.49 Cm kartiert. CHI3L3 wird primär von Makrophagen während einer Entzündung produziert. ECF-L weist Homologie mit Chitinase-Familienproteinen auf, besitzt jedoch keine enzymatische Aktivität.
