TRIM10 is an E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that plays an essential role in the differentiation and survival of terminal erythroid cells. TRIM10 may directly bind to PTEN and promote its ubiquitination, resulting in its proteasomal degradation and activation of hypertrophic signalling. TRIM10 acts as a positive regulator of cGAS-STING signalling by mediating 'Lys-27'- and 'Lys-29'-linked polyubiquitination of STING1, promoting STING1 activation.
