Chemokine-(C-X-C-Motiv)-Ligand 9 (CXCL9) ist ein kleines Zytokin, das zur CXC-Chemokin-Familie gehört und auch als Monokine induced by gamma interferon (MIG) bekannt ist. CXCL9 ist ein T-Zell-Chemoattraktivum, das durch IFN-gamma induziert wird. Es ist eng verwandt mit zwei anderen CXC-Chemokinen namens CXCL10 und CXCL11, deren Gene sich in der Nähe des Gens für CXCL9 auf dem menschlichen Chromosom 4.1, 2 befinden. CXCL9, CXCL10 und CXCL11 üben ihre chemotaktischen Funktionen alle durch Interaktion mit dem Chemokinrezeptor CXCR3 aus.3 Das in diesem Kit verwendete Standardprodukt ist rekombinantes humanes CXCL9, bestehend aus 103 Aminosäuren mit einer Molekülmasse von 11,7 KDa.
