Das CUB-Domänen-haltige Protein 1 (CDCP1) ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das CDCP1-Gen kodiert wird. Es wird auch als CD318 (Cluster of Differentiation 318) und Trask (Transmembrane and associated with src kinases) bezeichnet. CDCP1/Trask ist ein 140 kD großes Transmembranglykoprotein mit einer großen extrazellulären Domäne (ECD), die zwei CUB-Domänen enthält, und einer kleineren intrazellulären Domäne (ICD), die fünf Tyrosine enthält. Die Tyrosinphosphorylierung von Trask ist streng reguliert und reziprok mit dem Zustand der Zelladhäsion verbunden. Die Tyrosinphosphorylierung von CDCP1 in kultivierten Zellen tritt auf, wenn Zellen durch Trypsin oder EDTA zur Ablösung induziert werden oder spontan während der mitotischen Ablösung beobachtet wird. Die Überexpression von CDCP1 führt zum Verlust der Zelladhäsion und einem abgelösten Phänotyp. CDCP1 wird in menschlichen Epithelgeweben weit verbreitet exprimiert, aber seine Phosphorylierung wird nur in mitotisch abgelösten oder absterbenden Zellen beobachtet, was mit seiner Rolle bei der negativen Regulation der Zelladhäsion übereinstimmt.
