CD83 (Cluster of Differentiation 83) ist ein menschliches Protein, das vom CD83-Gen kodiert wird. Das von diesem Gen kodierte Protein ist ein Einzelpass-Transmembranprotein vom Typ I und Mitglied der Immunglobulin-Superfamilie von Rezeptoren. Das kodierte Protein könnte an der Regulation der Antigenpräsentation beteiligt sein. Eine lösliche Form dieses Proteins kann an dendritische Zellen binden und deren Reifung hemmen. Für dieses Gen wurden drei Transkriptvarianten gefunden, die verschiedene Isoformen kodieren.
