CD58, auch als Lymphozyten-Funktions-assoziiertes Antigen 3 (LFA-3) bekannt, ist ein Zelladhäsionsmolekül, das auf Antigen-präsentierenden Zellen (APC), insbesondere Makrophagen, exprimiert wird. Dieses Gen kodiert ein Mitglied der Immunglobulin-Superfamilie. Das kodierte Protein ist ein Ligand des T-Lymphozyten-CD2-Proteins und fungiert bei der Adhäsion und Aktivierung von T-Lymphozyten. Das Protein ist an der Plasmamembran lokalisiert. Alternativ gespleißte Transkriptvarianten wurden beschrieben.
