B3GT6 Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungs-Workflows, die B3GT6 betreffen.
Das durch dieses intronlose Gen kodierte Enzym ist eine Beta-1,3-Galactosyltransferase, die im medialen Golgi-Apparat vorkommt, wo sie die Übertragung von Galactose von UDP-Galactose auf Substrate katalysiert, die eine terminale beta-verknüpfte Galactose-Einheit enthalten. Das kodierte Enzym hat eine besondere Affinität für Galactose-beta-1,4-Xylose, die in der Linker-Region von Glykosaminen vorkommt. Dieses Enzym ist für die Glykosaminoglykan-Synthese erforderlich.
