ring finger protein 141 (RNF141) Homo sapiens Das durch dieses Gen kodierte Protein enthält einen RING-Finger, ein Motiv, von dem bekannt ist, dass es an Protein-DNA- und Protein-Protein-Interaktionen beteiligt ist. Eine reichliche Expression dieses Gens wurde im Hodengewebe fruchtbarer Männer gefunden, jedoch nicht bei azoospermischen Patienten nachgewiesen. Studien am Maus-Pendant deuten darauf hin, dass dieses Gen während der Spermatogenese als Hodenspezifischer Transkriptionsfaktor fungieren könnte. [bereitgestellt von RefSeq, Jul 2008].
