TMPO-Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe mit TMPO.
Das von TMPO (Thymopoietin) kodierte Protein befindet sich im Zellkern und könnte eine Rolle beim Aufbau der Kernlamina spielen und somit zur Aufrechterhaltung der strukturellen Organisation der Kernhülle beitragen. Es könnte als Rezeptor für die Anlagerung von Laminfilamenten an die innere Kernmembran fungieren. Mutationen in TMPO werden mit dilatativer Kardiomyopathie in Verbindung gebracht. Alternativ gespleißte Transkriptvarianten, die verschiedene Isoformen kodieren, wurden für TMPO festgestellt.
