TAAR5 Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die TAAR5 betreffen.
Funktion: Orphan-Rezeptor. Liganden sind wahrscheinlich kleine Moleküle, die entweder Ähnlichkeiten mit Spurenaminen aufweisen, wie z.B. Derivate von Indolaminen (wie 5-Methoxytryptamin) oder von Phenylethylaminen (wie Phenylethanolamin) oder jegliche Art von Metaboliten von Aminosäuren oder biogenen Amin-Neurotransmittern. Ähnlichkeit: Gehört zur G-Protein-gekoppelten Rezeptor-1-Familie. Gewebespezifität: Fast ausschließlich in der Skelettmuskulatur und ausgewählten Bereichen des Gehirns exprimiert, wie Amygdala, Hippocampus, Nucleus caudatus, Thalamus und Hypothalamus. Eine schwache Expression findet sich auch in der Substantia nigra.
