BCL2L12 Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology-Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die BCL2L12 betreffen.

Hintergrund

Dieses Gen kodiert ein Mitglied einer Proteinfamilie, die eine Bcl-2-Homologiedomäne 2 (BH2) enthält. Das kodierte Protein ist ein antiapoptotischer Faktor, der als Inhibitor der Caspasen 3 und 7 im Zytoplasma fungiert. Im Zellkern bindet es an das Tumorsuppressorprotein p53 und verhindert dessen Assoziation mit Zielgenen. Eine Überexpression dieses Gens wurde in einer Reihe verschiedener Krebsarten festgestellt. Es gibt ein Pseudogen für dieses Gen auf Chromosom 3. Alternatives Spleißen führt zu mehreren Transkriptvarianten. [bereitgestellt von RefSeq, Sep 2013]
