VAV2 ist das zweite Mitglied der VAV-Guaninnukleotid-Austauschfaktor-Familie von Onkogenen. Im Gegensatz zu VAV1, das ausschließlich in hämatopoetischen Zellen exprimiert wird, wurden VAV2-Transkripte in den meisten Geweben gefunden.
