Bag-3 Kaninchen-pAk ist ein ELK Biotechnology Antikörper für Forschungsabläufe, die Bag-3 betreffen.
BAG-Proteine konkurrieren mit Hip um die Bindung an die Hsc70/Hsp70-ATPase-Domäne und fördern die Substratfreisetzung. Alle BAG-Proteine besitzen eine etwa 45 Aminosäuren lange BAG-Domäne nahe dem C-Terminus, unterscheiden sich aber erheblich in ihren N-terminalen Regionen. Das von diesem Gen kodierte Protein enthält eine WW-Domäne in der N-terminalen Region und eine BAG-Domäne in der C-terminalen Region. Die BAG-Domänen von BAG1, BAG2 und BAG3 interagieren spezifisch mit der Hsc70-ATPase-Domäne in vitro und in Säugetierzellen. Alle 3 Proteine binden mit hoher Affinität an die ATPase-Domäne von Hsc70 und hemmen dessen Chaperon-Aktivität auf eine Hip-unterdrückbare Weise. [bereitgestellt von RefSeq, Juli 2008]
