Read-through-Transkription ebenfalls

Aminoacylase 1 (ACY1), also written aminoacylase-1, is a cytosolic zinc-dependent enzyme involved in the hydrolysis of acylated amino acids. This ABMIUM target record connects ACY1 biology, verified identifiers and catalogue-backed research products.
Biological function: ACY1 hydrolyzes N-acetylated and N-formylated amino acids to release free amino acids and carboxylates. Reviewed UniProt annotation also supports a role with APEH in sequential degradation of N-acylated peptides and confirms zinc-dependent aminoacylase activity.
