Protein Wnt-10b (früher Wnt12[5]) ist ein Protein, das beim Menschen durch das WNT10B-Gen kodiert wird. Die WNT-Genfamilie besteht aus strukturell verwandten Genen, die sezernierte Signalproteine kodieren. Diese Proteine sind an der Onkogenese und mehreren Entwicklungsprozessen beteiligt, einschließlich der Regulation des Zellschicksals und der Musterbildung während der Embryogenese. Dieses Gen ist ein Mitglied der WNT-Genfamilie. Es könnte an Brustkrebs beteiligt sein, und seine Proteinsignalisierung ist wahrscheinlich ein molekularer Schalter, der die Adipogenese steuert. Dieses Protein ist zu 96 % identisch mit dem Maus-Wnt10b-Protein auf Aminosäureebene. Dieses Gen ist zusammen mit einem anderen Familienmitglied, WNT1, in der Chromosomenregion 12q13 gruppiert.
